Attitude Determines Altitude

Attitude is a Choice!

It is your choice… rise to untouchable heights, or fail to reach your full potential. You have to develop the right attitude so that you can reach immeasurable altitudes… Let me elaborate on this a bit. If you where to walk into the gym thinking “i’m going to completely destroy this workout, i’m going to squat until i can’t walk”. That workout is going to be a phenomenal workout and you’re gonna be motivated even after your workout to keep going. and to recapture that feeling of improvement. It feels good to do what you set your mind to and get one step closer to your goals, whatever they may be. Now if you walk into that gym and you’ re thinking “Man, leg day… This is gonna suck, i already want to go home”. That workout is going to look completely different. When we adapt to a negative mindset, we adopt a negative lifestyle. This negative thought process is guaranteed to hold you back.

3 Steps to a Positive Mind

What we are thinking on the inside in our thoughts is reflected directly in our attitude on the outside, thus the corresponding result will be created in our lives. These are the three steps that i personally take to help keep my attitude in check and really be able to bring the best out of myself and others!

Step 1: Live with an open mind.

Don’t think you know everything… There is always so much to learn, and the sooner you realize that just because you know a little. does not mean you know a lot, and there is someone out there who does know more. and wants to help you. Always have an open mind and be willing to learn.

Step 2: Think for yourself.

Now when I say think for yourself. I’m not saying disregard your mentors and coaches and the people that are genuinely interested in your success. What i mean is to not take the easy way out.. not to live after the Worlds opinion. Not just going to the news or social media and absorbing everything you see as your own. Be yourself, Live your life by YOUR values, YOUR dreams, YOUR goals. Not someone else’s. Don’t compromise the integrity of your own mind..

Step 3: Think constructively

Does positive thinking work? not always. But positive thinking is much more effective then negative thinking.. To most people, positive thinking is really just wishful thinking. Positive thought with no real action or work behind it; You have to have genuine Belief in what you’re doing. That genuine belief accompanied with genuine action..
